Samsung has finally announced the official rollout schedule for its latest One UI 6 update, based on Android 14. The update brings a redesigned UI, new features, and improved performance to Samsung’s Galaxy devices.
According to the Samsung Community forums, the One UI 6 update will start rolling out to the Galaxy S23 series in the European Union on October 30, 2023. The update will then be available for other Galaxy devices in the following weeks, with most of them expected to receive it by the end of November.
The Samsung One UI 6 update will also roll out to the US market a week or two after the EU rollout, depending on the carrier and device model. Samsung has not yet shared the rollout timeline for other regions, but it is likely to be similar to the EU schedule.
One UI 6 is Samsung’s latest software update that brings a fresh look and feel to its Galaxy devices. The update includes a new notification panel, a new system font, visual tweaks throughout the interface, and more. The update also adds new features such as Live Translate, Privacy Dashboard, FaceTime support, and more.
One UI 6 is based on Android 14, which is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system. Android 14 introduces new features such as Material You, which adapts the system theme to your wallpaper, Focus Mode, which lets you block distracting apps and more.
