Previously confined to beta testers, the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update is now accessible to all Galaxy S22 users in Europe. The rollout will progressively expand to other regions in the coming weeks. To check for the update, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and Install. This event marks the second major Android OS update for the Galaxy S22 series, fulfilling Samsung’s commitment to four major Android OS updates. Expect the Android 15 update in late 2024 and the Android 16 update in late 2025.

One UI 6 introduces an array of features, notably visual changes to the Quick Settings panel, Lockscreen, and Notification panel. Additionally, it brings a new Studio video editor app, an Auto Blocker setting for enhanced security, and various minor improvements.
