In an upcoming event on November 23, Oppo is gearing up to unveil its much-anticipated Reno 11 series and the Pad Air 2 tablet in China. Following this announcement, the tech giant is poised to shift its attention to the Find X7 series, slated for a launch in the first quarter of 2024.
Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster, has recently leaked some intriguing details about the Oppo Find X7 Pro, asserting its claim to fame as the world’s first smartphone equipped with dual periscope telephoto cameras. Departing from its predecessor’s triple-camera setup, the Find X7 Pro will boast a sophisticated quad-camera arrangement on its rear.
Camera System Specification Leak:
The camera system on the Oppo Find X7 Pro is expected to include a 50MP LYT-900 primary camera with a substantial 1-inch size, promising exceptional image quality. Complementing this, the device will feature a 50MP IMX890 sensor equipped with a 1/1.56-inch size and a 2.7x optical zoom, alongside a 50MP IMX858 sensor with a 1/2.4-inch size and an impressive 6x optical zoom. Notably, a 50MP ultra-wide lens will round out the diverse camera setup.
Adding another layer of innovation, the Find X7 Pro’s camera system will introduce a new XCD solution, collaborating with Hasselblad to deliver enhanced color calibration. This promises users a high-quality and versatile photography experience. But we will have to wait for the release to find out if this Camera system can beat the camera system of the Google Pixel 8 Pro or Samsung S23 Ultra.
Under the hood, the Find X7 Pro is set to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring a robust performance. Meanwhile, its counterpart, the Find X7, is expected to house the Dimensity 9300 SoC.
Rumors are circulating that the Find X7 series might make its debut before the 2024 Chinese Spring Festival, potentially hitting the market by the end of January or early February. However, the global availability of the X7 and X7 Pro remains uncertain at this point.
