OnePlus Ace 3V to launch soon with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and 1.5K display

OnePlus is said to be in the works of developing a new mid-range smartphone as part of their Ace series. This upcoming device, rumored to be called the OnePlus Ace 3V, will serve as the successor to the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was initially released in China earlier this year and later rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 3 for other markets.

According to a reliable source on Weibo, the OnePlus Ace 3V will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. This chipset is built on a 4nm process, promising enhanced performance and efficiency compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the phone will boast a stunning flat 1.5K AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, along with an in-screen fingerprint sensor for added convenience.

While the OnePlus Ace 3V is expected to make its debut in China during the first quarter of 2024, there are also speculations that it may be launched globally as the OnePlus Nord 4 or Nord 5. As for pricing and availability details, they have yet to be disclosed. However, it is anticipated that the phone will face tough competition from other mid-range offerings by brands such as Honor, Vivo, and Realme.

Taking a look back at its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 2V, which was introduced in March 2023, it featured a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 64MP main sensor. The phone also supported NFC, Super Wi-Fi, and Game Cloud Computing technology. It will be interesting to see how the OnePlus Ace 3V will build upon these features to deliver an even better user experience.
